About the Melbourne Chapter
In July 2024, the general body of Basava Samiti Asia Pacific (BSAPAC) proudly approved the establishment of the Melbourne Chapter. This chapter has been a vital support system for BSAPAC, providing technical expertise and extensive systems administration support. Over the past few months, the Melbourne team has also embraced extensive consultancy services, further enhancing our operations.
Melbourne, known as Australia’s cultural capital, has experienced significant growth and popularity among diverse communities. Its vibrant atmosphere, combined with the acceptance and enthusiastic participation in our Learn2Grow program, has inspired us to launch the delivery arm of our charity in this bustling city. With its reputation as a tourist hub, Melbourne attracts a myriad of migrants and students from around the globe, creating an exceptional opportunity to foster community harmony and promote our core values within society.
Mrs. Dhruva Patak took the BSAPAC Oath on 29th September 2024, representing all executive committee members. Under her leadership, the Melbourne Chapter will collaborate closely with multicultural and diverse groups to plan exciting events. We eagerly anticipate the inaugural Basava Jayanthi celebrations in Melbourne, scheduled for May 2025.
