We are excited to announce the launch of the Sydney chapter of Basava Samiti Asia Pacific (BSAPAC), a new hub for community engagement, cultural enrichment, and social empowerment. Approved in July 2024, this chapter is set to drive our mission of fostering community harmony and spreading the values of Basava philosophy across Sydney’s diverse population.
Sydney, as Australia’s most iconic tourist destination, is a melting pot of culture, diversity, and opportunities. Known for its fast-paced lifestyle and as a magnet for international students and migrants, Sydney offers the perfect environment to connect and build thriving communities. The success of our Learn2Grow program has seen wide acceptance here, encouraging us to establish a permanent chapter in this vibrant city.
The Sydney chapter has provided crucial technical expertise and system administration support to BSAPAC operations and is now receiving extensive HR support as it gears up for growth. On 29th September 2024, Mrs. Kirti Verma proudly took the BSAPAC Oath on behalf of the executive committee, cementing the chapter’s leadership. We look forward to planning key multicultural events, including the inaugural Basava Jayanthi celebrations in May 2025.
